Wild, Wonderful, and Heartwarming in a Single Day.
Experience the very best wildlife encounters Nairobi has to offer in one action-packed day. This “Trio” tour is designed for those who want it all: the thrill of a wild safari game drive, the emotional connection of visiting rescued baby elephants, and the joy of getting eye-to-eye with an endangered giraffe.
At Waki Tours, we have mastered the logistics of this popular combination. The timing for the Elephant Orphanage is strict, but our experienced guides know exactly how to manage the schedule so you don’t feel rushed.
You start with the raw wilderness of Nairobi National Park, move to the world-famous David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust for their public feeding hour, and conclude at the Giraffe Centre to hand-feed the rare Rothschild’s giraffes. It is a day of contrasts—from lions stalking prey on the open plains to the playful antics of milk-dependent elephant calves.
Highlights
- Timing is Everything: The Orphanage is only open to the public from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We cannot be late. We may need to cut the morning game drive slightly short if traffic conditions dictate a slightly earlier departure to make the 11 AM slot.
- Cashless Venues: Nairobi National Park and the Giraffe Centre do not accept cash at the gate. You must have a Visa/Mastercard credit or debit card for payments.
